Optimisation des plans de trame dans le système AMRT/CNC d'EUTELSAT

Abstract : Phone calls are transmitted via the European satellite Eutelsat I-F2 since March 1986, thanks to a TDMA/DSI system (time division multiple access with digital speech interpolation). We present in this paper methods for constructing, each year, the burst time plans which define the composition of the bursts and their scheduling in the frame of each satellite transponder. These methods give optimal results for the years 1986 to 1989: they minimize an objective function including the transponders, the bursts and the frequency converters. They also give good results for subsequent years.
