Optimal Integrity Monitoring for Navigation Systems

Résumé

The problem of optimal integrity monitoring for navigation systems is discussed in the paper. Recently, this problem has received extensive research attention. Numerous fault detection and isolation (FDI) algorithms have been designed. However, the problems of criteria suitable for navigation purposes, optimality of the FDI algorithms in mathematical sense remain unsolved. The goal of this theoretical paper is to give a uniform statistical approach to the problem.
