Reliability Analysis on Industrial Synergistic Systems - Lagny-sur-Marne as a Case Study

Résumé

This study presents a probabilistic-based methodology to assess the reliability of companies before and after by-product synergy is set up for the strategic purposes of industrial ecology. The failure event of any company inside the synergistic system would cause different degree of synergy failure and might impose the material shortages to the recipient companies. Thus, this study takes into account the failure rate, stock management, outsourcing strategy etc of each company in the dynamic stock simulation to evaluate the reliability of the companies affected by the synergistic flows. The French industrial site of Lagny-sur-Marne is used as a case study.
