Extraordinary magnetoplasmonic effect in SPPMOKE configuration

Abstract : An as yet unexploited Magneto Optical Kerr Effect (MOKE) at evanescent distance from a surface is introduced. In the case of a magnetic particle-metallic surface system, an extraordinary intensity is discovered and fully explained by the excitation of Surface Plasmon Polariton.
