Magneto-optical response of nanoparticles and some potential use in active nanophotonics

We discuss the magneto-optical response of nanoparticles, and their potential use in plasmonics and for the control of non-radiative energy transfer in molecular uorescence. Our results provide theoretical proofs of concept for applications of magneto-optics to active nanophotonics.
