A note on coordination of production and distribution planning

We give a counterexample to illustrate that a key theorem in the paper entitled “Coordination of production and distribution planning” (European Journal of Operational Research 72, 503–517) is not correct, and then analyze where an error occurs in the proof of the theorem.
